Something new

So I started posting my COMPLETED Christmas fic. I'm getting there people I promise. I'm working on another story thats about 80% finished as well and then I'm going to start tackling the older wip fics that most have probably given up on.

I will probably post things here and there on this site to go along with chapters but other than that I hope you enjoy the new fic and keep your fingers crossed that this writing mojo keeps going because touching something new has really helped.

I suck I know!

I have not abandoned my fics, I just am stuck and haven't been able to get going on them. Honestly I think I put to much pressure on myself, especially with Homecoming the College Years, because I didn't want to disappoint anyone. Plus I had some really nasty anon reviews that just got to me. My skin isn't as thick as it should be I guess. 

So I'm trying to get my writing mojo going again. I'm thinking I might just do a o/s or a quick drabble to clean the cogs out and get going again. I may do an outtake for something, but something is coming. Like I said I just have to get myself going again 

Once I am able to get going again, I'm hoping to go into all my unfinished fics and start getting them finished. So fingers crossed here I go again trying to get this done. If I ever do abandon my fics and just give up I promise I will tell you!!

Works in progress

So I'm going to start going through my works in progress and read them and try to get motivate to work on them again. I do have a few rough drafts for Homecoming the College Years and Between then and Now but they are very rough. I'm getting there though trying to find my way back to writing and getting these finished up.

Long time no see... please don't kill me.

So real life has been trying to even out, fic life lets just say nasty guest reviewers have been hitting and it isn't pretty. For example I received one review like this:

That is actually not the worst one, only the one calling me a bad mother and saying that DSS should take my kid away because I'm an idiot and spend my time online instead of being a mom got deleted in a rage. Just saying my kid wants for nothing when it comes to love, support and my time.


On a brighter note I sent chapter 10 off to my beta about 5 minutes ago so hopefully we'll get an update up by Tuesday or Wednesday. There will be visual aids, and I've written enough of chapter 11 that I can give out a teaser for reviews this time.
